Manual inventory processes created bottlenecks across operations. Counting assets on pallets, identifying missing items, and locating misplaced equipment required extensive time and labor, often delaying critical workflows and reducing overall efficiency.

To address these challenges, RFRain implemented a fully integrated RFID solution across warehouse operations.

With RFID tracking in place, BUMED can now verify pallet contents in seconds rather than hours. The system automatically flags discrepancies, allowing teams to immediately identify missing items without manual intervention.

Real-time tracking ensures that every asset movement is recorded, giving operators instant access to the last known location of any item. If an asset is misplaced, it can be quickly located, minimizing delays and improving operational continuity.

A key enhancement in this deployment was the introduction of an RFID-enabled cart with a long mast, designed to rapidly scan high-density storage racks. Shelves containing hundreds of items that once required hours to process can now be scanned in approximately 10 seconds, dramatically increasing warehouse throughput.

The solution also enables real-time deployment readiness by comparing required assets against those available on-site. This provides accurate, up-to-date visibility into operational readiness and supports faster, more informed decision-making.

RFRain delivered the project end to end, including RFID hardware, software, cloud platform, printer integration, installation, commissioning, cybersecurity, consulting, and ongoing support. The result is a unified system designed for performance, reliability, and scalability.
